As I'm sure you've been watching the news these last few days in regards to the union busting actions of the governor of Wisconsin. As a show of support, the San Diego and Imperial Counties Labor Council (AFl-CIO) will be having a rally. Please make an effort to attend. We need to remember that if the governor of Wisconsin is successful in eliminating collective bargaining rights there, that movement will only gain momentum and spread. More importantly:"An injury to one is an injury to all."

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Although we hosted a rally last Friday to show Solidarity with Wisconsin workers - there has been an overwhelming cry to do more. We are working with individuals and groups to have a community-wide "We Are One" Rally this Saturday, February 26th at 12 noon. It will be held at the County Administration Building - 1600 Pacific Highway (on the west side / bay side). Please send this out far and wide. We need to show San Diego and Wisconsin that we are part of the movement to save the middle class. We must stop this war on workers! We are making a banner and placards, but please bring signs as well.
