This scene, with it's tender shots of the audience of wide-eyed children like that in Truffaut's 400 Blows, is heartbreakingly beautiful. Watch it. Then take the time to watch the whole film. Then Trois Colours. Bleu, Blanc, Rouge. Then, if Kieslowski really works for you, try the Decalogue.
