About to finish Tim O'Brien's novel July, July. Nine friends at their 30 year college reunion. Class of 1969. In the remodeled bar that used to be a college hangout, singing along to a Bob Dylan song on the jukebox:
" . . .singing loud, surprising themselves. In the old days they would've sneered, and did sneer, at such flagrant sentiment. Now it felt like love."
